The Spring Break Series: It's Compton Time! Friday

Heyyyyooo. Friday!
The schools there were out of school on Friday so, that means, nooo seminary!:D
We got up at around, eh, I can't remember how early/late we woke up. But, we woke up, got ourselves so cutely dressed, oh yeah. One thing that is no natural, for me and Noah is that we wear clothes that match.. without even coordinating it. Like, it happens every day we are together, and I am in love with that factor of fashion, haha! We ended up wearing a matching rustic orange together. Well, you'll see right here..
See the cute orange? Oh, of course you do! C: Well, this picture is taken at Noccalula Falls! Noah took me there in the morning/afternoon! It was a BEAUTIFUL state park! There was a cute little train that toured the entire area with little stops at attractions and things to do. We rode the train and got off to walk through rocks that were under the landscaping! It was soooo cool, literally, down there! We must have been feeling adventurous, because of our skinniness, we unintentionally veered off the walkway and basically squeezed through the natural rocks and climbed up them and jumped around one from another, and then came to the conclusion we were no longer on the path! Haha, it was very very fun! We then climbed out from the rocks under ground level, and walked straight into the sun. Noah and I shun the sun, so we scurried to a shaded swing and sat and snapped some sweet pictures (holy goodness. Such an alliteration..^):

Hide and Seek is our jam^

After the swinging, we reached a dying excuse for a flower garden and walked around admiring what would be flowers, but only dandelions grew. In all honesty, flowers may be prettier, but there really is no other feeling than blowing the seeds of a dandelion all over the environment! Reproduction is the first degree! We then headed over the see the waterfall! We had to get to a bridge that required us driving to another parking lot! It was well worth the forty five second drive, and it was such a beautiful bridge! Once we made a few wished, took a few pictures, and even were asked if a guy could take our picture, we stopped for ice cream and drove to the shady parking lot of his church building right down the road. It was such a sweet memory!

From far away, by the way.^

At the top of the falls, on the bridge!^

Noah and I just can't get enough adventure. We went back home, and Noah's house is right next to an abandoned and creepy old school. It's pretty damaged inside. Floors have fallen through, ceilings have caved in, and there is just, so much to be explored and trespassed!:D So, Noah lives on a hill and the school is behind his house down at the bottom of the hill. We make our way down the hill, and try to look for a hole in the chain link fence around the school! What do ya know, we found one!:D We jumped the fence, and made a mad dash to a hidden door on the inside of a courtyard (Noah claims to have discovered the entrance, but whatever;)) We get inside, and find the floor to have "fallen through" on both sides of the entrance. The right side, had completely fallen through, I will admit, but the left had only a little floor left, sorta, standing. Noah didn't think we could make it, so we went back home to go get Sadie and her boyfriend Denzell, but we ended up getting Noah's best friend Nik to come back with us. Noah and Nik have explored every room in this freakish school. We go to the entrance I had found earlier;) and took the left way, which was very jumpable. We were guided by Nik to the auditorium, which was a pretttty cool room! We pretended to preform in front of all the graffiti in the room, which was a pretty huge audience.. haha! I then found a way to get to the basement from some stairs (stairs that I came close to falling over the banister of) Nik tried to scare us, but it didn't work. (I was plenty terrified without Nik and Noah's efforts, heh.) We went down to the basement where it was absolutely disgusting. I cared more about my cute shoes than what the basement had to offer. Noah suggested we go up to the attic, based off of a past experience that he and Nik had once. We climbed up very rickety stairs and the attic had all been destroyed except for these little planks of wood holding the frame of the roof up. Of course, we walked the planks all over the place. It was pretttttty creepy, and unsafe. We turned around after reaching a point int the attic where it was so dark, you weren't able to see your way even with your phone. As we were leaving the attic, we all witnessed a crashing sound that had came from the darkness. I looked back to find Noah and Nik's faces frightened. This was no joke, I thought. Nik screamed to run run run! So, that's what we did. We.... RAN. FASTTTT. We made it out of the building alive, thank goodness, made our mad way back to the outside world, and jumped the fence like a trio of kangaroos. We were safe on the hill and started for the house, talking about the crash we had heard in the attic. It, was scary terrib..spooky terrifying.

By this time of the day, First Friday was soon to start. Noah, Nik, and I jumped in the car and headed out. Noah and I walked around in a giant circle, trying to hide from every typical, weird, creepy, or dumb looking person we saw. We actually had a great time!! We then met up with the rest of Noah's friends and decided that it was time to go build a fire in Noah's backyard and roast marshmallows. We three kangaroos hopped in the car and drove to walmart where we debated which marshmallows to purchase. There was a generic brand for 26 cents cheaper, and the Jet-Puff brand. We ended off basing our decision off of the ingredients (the exact same down the to last one) the nutritional facts (exact same), the ounce count (exactly the same down the the tenth) We ended up making our descion on where it was packaged. We chose the marshmallows from Idaho, because there are Mormons in Idaho, haha! I even think it was the more expensive ones..

We set built the fire in Noah's yard. Denzell decided it was a good idea to rip a bush out of the ground and set it on fire. Well. Yeah, that's what he did. About ten people congregated around our little fire and I met Noah's oldest sister Carlie! Her and her husband were down from Birmingham for the weekend and it was such a delight to meet them!

After that, Noah and I went inside with all of the Compton children that had congregated in conversation. Noah tried to prove to his oldest brother Cameron that he could download the full version of Logic Pro 9 (which he did!) So proud of him :,D. The day winded down, and if I do say so myself, it was SUCH. a FUN. DAY! :D One of my favorite days ever with Noah Giles Compton! <3
