My Final Words. TREK.

HELP. I need somebody..
HELP. Not just anybody..
HELP. Ya know I need someone..
HEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP.
Name that tune^. If you can't, I'm sorry.
But yeah. I need help. Help to survive the next four days.
The next four days, I will be running astray with a bunch of other Mormons.
With no bathrooms.
Showers.
Cell phone service.
No cell phones.
No WiFi.
No mirrors.
No outlets.
In pioneer clothes. (Yes that includes bloomers.)
Pulling handcarts.
Full of everyone's personal 5 gallon bucket that contain the instruments they will be surviving off of.
Up mountains.
In the sun.
Outside.
With no tents.
Or boyfriends.
(I just asked Noah what I should title this post, and he replied "4 Days Out of 12, That Noah's Life Will Miserably Suck: Trek" Poor us..)
No makeup.
No hair dryers.
No Instagram.

The list goes on and on.
If you can't tell what trek is all about, it's a trip that is provided for the youth of the LDS church, where kids ages of 14-18 go off for about four days and pull handcarts through God's blessed, rugged Earth. It's a pioneer simulation to, I don't know.. "celebrate" and appreciate what the Mormon pioneer went through to travel out West. But mostly, it is to strengthen our testimonies of trial and endurance and faith and relying on Heavenly Father. The thing is, they usually do this trek in the winter. Which would make only, uhh, I dunno, maybe about 248389629797523234 times more sense.. so, I've been hearing stories like..

"YEAH! I did a summer trek one time! We only had 18 people hooked up to IVs, it was such a miracle, it wasn't that bad!:DDDDDDDDD".....
Ladies and gentleman.. I am terrified of needles. Shots. Blood. Doctors. Wires. Tubes. Pus. Anything medical. I have a hard time putting on band-aids sometimes. It's quite the struggle. Now, I have a nice reputation at Girl's Camp of throwing up every year because..
1. I don't eat.
2. I hate drinking water.
3. I hate peeing in public.
4. I don't eat.
I'm expecting and trying to prepare myself to get stuck with needles, and I pray that I wont thrash out in fear at my persecuter.

I'm so scared.
Hopefully, I'll survive this and be blogging about my near death experiences when I return.

Someone pray for me. I may die on this trek.
God be with you til we meet again. I'll miss about, 5% of you.

SUPER POST #1 Big News: Curve Ball

I'm calling today's post a SUPER POST. Just because, There's so.. many.. things... that have happened..
The range of the good-bad news is a stretch. Either the news is between:
Total meltdown of my life to making a tie dye pillow case and it looking great. Little blessings like such.
But that's pretty much exactly what's happened this week. I'll save the meltdown for last.

Well, yesterday night, Seminary Graduation was held and that's always fun to see all your friends graduate after four lo- ....ya know really don't want to blog about freaking seminary graduation. Me and one of my bestfriends took a really cute picture and I want to put it in a blog, so.. BAM this is Sebra and she leaves for college at ASU in Arizona in August :'''(
Another little simple joy I encountered the other day was a little jump drive I found in the bowels of my computer desk. This is my jump drive from eighth grade and it was basically just an invitation to vomit all over the keyboard as I re-encountered the image I had in middle school.
Mom.. Dad.. How dare you let me out of my room?
There is one picture that I'd like, and am willing to share with you guys. It's from eighth grade, and it is of me and my best friend before we experienced High School and engaged ourselves in the pattern of fighting, hating each other and then making up, fight, hate, make up, hate, soccer, she's smarter than me, blah blah. I still love this picture, and the nostalgia of our friendship.
Another exciting thing that occurs quite weekly, is the step-by-step, week-by-week progression my sweet boyfriend makes towards his mission papers! That is so exciting!! He is on course to leave in October, (no, he hasn't received his call yet. The church is now accepting papers four months early so the youngsters can leave right when they turn 19. ASAP!)
That's very exciting, and very, soon. It just hit me the other day.. that that's only four months away...
He will turn 19 on October 1st.
October first is 3.89 months away.
16.93 weeks away.
118 days away.
2,844 hours away.
That's so odd.. in an exciting way of course! So proud of my little missionary-to-be :'D

In other news, on Saturday I tie dyed a pillow case. Take a look, yo!

So, que the sad music.
As my dad put it in a Facebook status.. "Well, the economy has finally caught up with the Davis family - got downsized this week. #entertaingoffers"
I guess that's supposed to mean that he lost his job, cause that's what people are picking up from it. Cause it's true. It's kinda weird. There's talk and searching of moving somewhere new (which really I love the sound of, I absolutley hate where we live now, I'm rady to pack up and leave!) One thing I'm not so excited about is starting my senior year at a new school.

Yeah.                     We won't think about that right now. Things are just strange. BUT..
I'm a firm believer in the phrase "Everything happens for a reason." I know that everything will be ok.

Every thing about every thing is the way it is for a reason.
And I have faith that this is God's will, and I know that we will get through this and be just fine. I really cant say I'm worried at all. Because I'm not. Faith and our strong membership in the LDS church is what takes over now, and I am happy to say that! I am aaaaaa-ok with that, Cap'n!
The Davis Family will be fine. No worries. But prayers are nice.
That's it for now! But let's end on a good note.

There's this band you guys need to check out. I'm listening to them as I blog.
It's my boyfriend's brothers's band RedScareRobot. They're awesome. You should check them out here. https://www.facebook.com/RedScareMusic/app_2405167945 And here. http://www.reverbnation.com/redscarerobot And if you have a Twitter, here. http://twitter.com/#!/RedScareRobot And I'm pretty sure they're on MySpace, and they are on Instagram.

If you want my dad to find a job, you'll check out RedScareRobot.
How's that for propaganda, hm?

Down to Business: Edit

Omg. I read my scale wrong. I wanna ditch 15 pounds, by June 13th.

But if I only get to 10, I guess I can live.

Not really. That extra five matters.

Peace.

Down to Business! Advice is Needed!

So, my problem is that I never take anything seriously.
Ever.
I can think opf two things that I do.
One, living the gospel the best I can and with few mistakes as possible.
Two, Noah Compton.
BUT. As the little angel and I were talking about today, change when for the better is good. I think I specifically remember myself saying

"I hate change. Change is bad. Unless it's for the better, then it's good."

Yeah....that's going on my gravestone when I die.
and one thing I want to change is my idleness. My laziness. My constant bordom. Since summer started, I do nothing anymore. I did nothing before, but now that school's out, I do NOTHING. Which is going to CHANGE! For the better! Hopefully..
So I am making it a goal to eat healthier and lose weight.

BY SAYING THE WORDS "I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT", I AM IN NO WAY INDICATING THAT I THINK I AM FAT. GIRLS COMPLAIN. AND IF IT'S ONE THING WE'RE GOOD AT COMPLAINING ABOUT, IT'S OUR IMAGE. LOSING WEIGHT IS A GOOD GOAL FOR SOMEONE WHO FEELS INSECURE ABOUT THEMSELVES. EVERYONE, FAT OR SKINNY, IS INSECURE.

LET'S BE HONEST. There is always room for improvement. Sorry, but it's true.
LET'S BE HONEST. I eat terribly. I always have. I'm at that stage in my life where it's all coming back to me now. Bleehhh.
LET'S BE HONEST. I am so idle. I play soccer for about four months of the year, that's it. I should workout more. I could lose weight, and I'd be very happy if I did. So I am.

I am making it a goal to start eating healthily. I am familiar with this trangle thing, I think it's got three sides, like those things in Egypt. They were built by the government, or something. Supposed to tell you how to eat and what not. Oh YEAH the food pyramid. That's it.
I am making it a goal to lose nine pounds by the time I leave for my handcart trek, on June 13th. Now, I've been doing research about muscles, and body fat, and just excersize in general, and what makes up the skinniness in someone's body. I'm quite confused, so I'm very VERY open to tips from people that workout and have a purpose on Earth, yahtayahtayahta.

Like I said in my last post.. I am DYING to start up with juicing veggies. Dying. I can't wait to torture my tastebuds until the are trained to tolerate it. But that will unfortunatley have to wait. My plan is to go running every other day for 30 minutes, but with days I don't run, I'll do 30-40 minutes of cardio, with everyday 20 minutes of muscle building, push and sit ups, all that jazz.
I hate muscles. I hate the thought of being muscular, or strong or just.. no. It going to kill me, forcing myself to do push ups. But I've heard that with muscle just being there burns calories and that fat turns into muscles, or muscles are leaner that fat and just a bunch of mumbo jumbo so I'd graciously accept any excersize enlightenment at all. I need it.

Until then, I'll have faith in workouts and good eats and stick-to-it-iveness. Pray for me.

Super Saturday!

Today, a lottttt has happened!
To explain my title for this post..
A little while ago I was making Ramen noodles for dinner with one hand, and stirring and cooling jello in it's starting liquid form with the other, all while stretched across the kitchen, throwing away trash, buring my hand on the oven, getting ice from the fridge, drying measuring cups, all that kitchen jazz.

But to start off this post, I gotta say...

CONGRATS TO SEB'S CLASS OF 2012!!!
My high school's graduation was today and I was not able to attend, low and behold, thanks to modern technology, I was able to watch peers walk across the stage and recieve 13 years of school work on one sheet of paper. I'm going to miss Amber Harville, so much, the little cupcake C:

RIP Haley Davis <3
RIP Haley Davis <3
These are suuchhh throwbacks, for me and Amber had no classes together this year :c^

This morning, my dear little family and my visiting grandparents went shopping, and while out, my life saver Brittany texted me knowing I was in desperate need to grow my hair out after a tragic mishap at the salon (they cut it waaaaaaay short. I've never cried so much over a trim..) Brittany added on a second solution to my problem!
The first solution being from Noah, to eat lots of gelatin, and I've had a bowl of jello every day since.
Brittany contributed the suggestion that I use a horse shampoo called "Mane and Tail".
When I was first told this, it was doubt. There's no way.. and that's crazy. But then with a little more explaniation, fun facts, and encourangement from testimonials, I realized I was desperate enough to wash my hair with horse products. The best part was that it was only six dollars a bottle, yes!!
I actually just got out of the shower from using it, and I'm blessed to say this was no practicle joke in ehich all my hair would fall off. It's funny. Onthe back of the bottle, instructions for use on humans come before use on animals..

So, a personal relationship between me and my blender has bloomed. I've been in love with Smoothies for quite some time now, and it came to pass, that in the seventeenth year of the Cindy, I have been making them myself. There's no Planet Smoothie in the dump town that I live in, so this love of ice and milk and fruit had to be introverted to my home. I've most recently made Orange Julius, and made a new smoothie today!
This smoothie contained 1 cup of skim milk, frozen strawberries, blueberries, and pomegranate!
I pity the people whose only affiliation with pomegranates are the scents in Bath and Body Works, because they taste 3785835894 times better than how they smell artificially!
this was my smoothie I made today, and the below images are my most beloved Orange Julius!
I have been trying really hard to eat healthier, because I am a terrible eater. Terrible. My next milestone in my life, is to start juicing fruits and vegetables. I'm really going to be persistent in training my tastebuds into tolerating said veggies. I really hate veggies, so this better be worth it, and the expenses of a friggin' nice juicer. By the way, my birthday is in July..... lol.

Another thing that I've been doing, ALL DAY, is painting.
I don't know if I've shared my love for art on my blog yet, but, guys, ask anyone. I'm pretty passionatley in to it. I had not finished my 3D project for my AP Studio Art portfolio, so I'm still working on it. If anyone has seen my progress of my cast plastering my hand and wrist on Instagram, this may look familiar to you!

Flash makes everything look weird.

One more painting I've been really working on is a watercolour that I first drew out in ink, to wash over with color. I finished all I could put up with today. And this is what I have! I can't really decide if I'm pleased with it or not. I hope you are! It is a picture I originally took at Noccalula Falls in Alabama while me and my sweetheart were out on a date there :D
Yes, I am planning on cutting off the tip of my picture, the paper with stop at the hault of my topless tree.
It's been a pretty busy day, and now I need to go chew on some hay.

Senioriti- Juniorit-.. High Schoolitis.

A realm of wHIch a Group or mass of  Helpless people I have no intereSt, Hope, nor tolerenCe in whatsOever that make me questiOn the functions and so-caLled "normality" of the average teenager.

Young ones. Easily influenced public. Adults who have interest in what I, a mere child, has to say. Lend me your ear. I have five days left of school. My junior year.
Some may have Senioritis. Some may develop Senioritis at an early age.
Me? Dude, I was ready to graduate the first time I grabbed that wretched door handle that ultimately showed me the path to the next four years of my mistakes, all nighters, tests and assignments I would fail, embarrassing and awkward situations I'd be sandwiched in, and enough drama for three high schools.

I'm up to my small green eyes in disgust and impatience with the general public.
I try to stay away, and avoid all the characteristics, experiences, and happiness that high school brings.
The past three years of high school has been the longest game of dodge ball I've ever participated in. I've ducked under enough fists that have been thrown in hallways that led to fights, have seen enough drug busts to be a "gangstah" myself, have steered clear of numerous weaves and perms that fly when someone is accidentally bumped in a hallway, and oh man.
Have I or have I not. Had ENOUGH of the surprise gum on seats, floors, tables, and walls that students ever so graciously tend to share with the rest of us lost souls that lack gum in their hair, on their hands, or screeched into their clothes. Meehhhhh.

I don't feel like hiding for the future 185 days I have to attend class. I'm ready to get out of here. TO ESCAPE. Thanks for listening. Don't go to school. Home school your kids. They'll love you a lot more. Well, probably not. It's crazy to think, that there are some people that wouldn't want to remove themselves from society and the "human beings" that it's raising up.

But that's just me. And, you love me.

Mormon Prom 2012

HEY EVERYONE I WENT TO PROM.
Can you, even believe it?
Cindy Davis? Prom? No, it doesn't add up.
Exactly. That's why me and my dear little Noah went to Mormon Prom in Atlanta this weekend!
It was....... A BLAST! :D
We didn't just go to prom. Before prom, we met up at the Atlanta Temple! Isn't that just precious? C": We had a picnic on temple grounds and witnessed like, 3849748343 weddings. It got annoying and crowded after a while. Lol.
It was such an amaaaaazing experience going to the temple with Noah! VERY spiritual. A great way to kick off another Mormon inspired day! The second I saw him, well, usually, within the first millisecond I see Noah, I start running to him for a super hug! But, in this situation, I was in a dress and heels, so, I just kinda walked/scooted as fast as I could with my arms stretched out to him, and it was basically a super hug! Ahh, my faaaavorite!! After our picnic, we just walked around until my mom got Allison to follow her into the temple's waiting room where my mom gave me the keys to the van and told me to have me and Noahsweetness to drive Allison to the bookstore down the road. Of course, I freaked. I am terrible with directions. And maps. And roads. And cars. And navigating people. Especially Noah. I look over to tell him something and I get distracted looking at him C: hehe. So, we tried to drive Allison to the bookstore, but of course we couldn't find it, so, while at one point we were totally stopped in the middle of the road, one of the Minivans that we saw at the temple that had just left one of the 3849748343 weddings, stopped and asked if we needed help to the bookstore and my face lit up and he drove away, I'm assuming, knowing what I was trying to communicate with a ":D" face on, lol. So we got to the bookstore where the book Allison wanted wasn't even there. We didn't have much trouble getting back to the temple, so that's a good thing.

We then rode over to the hotel room that was in the city of the prom, where me and Noah would get ready! Noah fell asleep on me in the car. Oh, it's so cute when he does. :,) We got to the hotel room, got ready, and omg.
When  I saw.
Noah. Compton.
In his prom attire.
^________________^
I thought I was going to pass out, I've never seen someone more attrac- yeah. I won't get into that. That's another blog post for another day.
He was gorgeous. The most. Gorgeous person. Ever. Always has been. Always will be.

Noah's best friend Nik also rode with Noah to Georgia. Nik's girlfriend Alex lives in the same area the prom is at and so we all went to prom together! They just dropped Noah off at the temple. We alllll then met back up to go out to eat!:D We had to wait forever to be seated, and we got, so. Many. Stares. Gah, it's only cause we looked so good. Hehe, we were seated and even had our picture taken by our waiter and printed to go up on one of the restaurant walls! It was a very yummy, yet very rushed dinner :D We the got to the prom and everything went GREAT! The theme was A Night In Central Park! It was a very fun prom an I enjoyed every moment of it with Noah next to me at all timesC": The pictures below are all taken by one of the prom photographers. He took so many of us because every time we saw him coming, we'd shy away from the camera. I only uploaded two of like, seven. Haha!
I'd vote this as my favorite picture in the world. For sure.^^^

I took this picture^ But these flowers, are (besides from Noah) the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. I will cry when they die, and that's a promise.

After we were all done with prom, we went to Alex's house to go midnight swimming in her heated pool! If it wasn't heated, we would have all froze. It was one of the funnest nights of my life!:D

I'm only having one prom. And this was it. The only prom I'll ever go to! Ever WANT to go to, and it's all because of Noah! C': Thank you for taking me, and giving me the BEST prom a girl could ever want! <3
