Luckily I only have two finals and only one is a written test.
That, is chemistry. I'm prettttty worried about it, but I have a feeling I'll pull through.
My English final was a semester long project portfolio of creative writing.
Unlike 90% of the students in the class that waited until last week to start on the collection of 42 assignments, I started the first week we went to one of the labs.
I got the writing done but I have the natural man in me that underestimated the tedious putting together of the portfolio. I had to print out all the assignments, back them on border paper, and draw designs on the border paper because I wanted it to be original.
So last night at 11:45 PM I finally finished! And even had a little extra time to do a Brazilian Buttlift workout, lol.
Not a single other page can fit in this binder
The cover! Twenty minutes with watercolour and any common person would be impressed. "This Ship Has Set Sail"
I have this little tendancy that whenever finals week comes around, I just then decide I have so many pointless things that I have "always wanted to try" and "need to do right away". Which they all are good things that need to be done, just.. they always slip my mind until the week of finals. So far, I have had the urgency to:
1.Learn to sing and gert voice lesson
2.Thrift shop like no other (now that I came across some cash not too long ago..)
3.DISCOVERED WANELO (Deadly during finals week)
4.Start Joshua's Law online
5.Blog before the end of 2012
6.Do community service
And so. Many. Other. Deviating things.
And last but not least..
7.Clear out and clean up a hidden cemetery that Rachel and I found. (Pictures shall be posted soon. I'm blogging from school.)
The other day, Rachel and I finally put our long awaited plan to clear and clean up a small cemetery out in the woods that my dad and I found out about a few years back.
We got our branch clippers and rakes and basically cut down a small part of a forest.
It looks so much better now, and we can prove it with scars. The graveyard was overgrown with thorn vines and inside the gates, you couldn't make a move without thorns piercing your flesh, even with long jeans on!
It was a lot of fun and had the sketchiest time.
There is a road that does past the little wooded area that if you know what you're looking for, you could see the fence of the graveyard up on the hill.
I was totally waiting for some lamebrain to drive past us and see a bright red rake in the air, mistake it for a shovel, assume two girls dressed in dark colours were grave-digging, and call the cops on us.
I was waiting for police cars to come the entire time we spent cleaning up.
We got about half way done and it was getting too dark.
I stood up on the tallest headstone, balanced myself and my DSLR, and photographed our progress.
Pretty crazy. We had a great time though and we can't wait to go back and finish!
Time for my next class. Gah, two more days of school in the semester. The first semester of my senior...year..
